Situated in the beautiful seaside village of Shaldon, this attractive fisherman's cottage is ideally situated just a few steps from the back beach and slipway and a short level walk to the village amenities.
Coast Cottage is exceptionally well equipped and has a comfortably furnished lounge with double bed settee, Flatscreen TV, DVD. Double bedroom and ensuite shower room. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge. Utility area with washing machine and microwave.
Shaldon has 3 beaches (2 river, 1 sea), great pubs & bistros, botanical gardens, 18 hole approach golf course and a wildlife centre. The historic town of Teignmouth is across the river, Exeter is only 14 miles away, Newton Abbot and Torquay 5 miles and Dartmoor with its superb rugged scenery is only 12 miles away.

Located on the opposite side of the Teign estuary from the coastal town of Teignmouth the small fishing village of Shaldon, in south Devon, England, is a great location for a holiday. It is located not far from Bishopsteignton, Maidencombe, Combeinteignhead, and Dawlish and is one of more than 300 towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest city is Exeter.
A notable place to visit at Shaldon are the gardens located on the hillside above the village, which were first created during the 1920s and 30s, and from which the Teign estuary can be viewed.
The Shaldon regatta runs for nine days every year in August, and is one of the oldest regattas in the country.
A visit here is well worth considering!
